MAFP Organized a Covid Zoom Meeting for Myanmar General Practitioners

At the wake of the COVID-19 third wave, Myanmar general practitioners are taking responsibility to provide care to the community more than ever. Both public and private medical task forces are facing unprecedented challenges under current political turmoil and chronicity of the pandemic.
The MAFP has organized a large group meeting for the general practitioners across the country to share the experience and information which could be useful for their practice to minimize the impact of the pandemic and to maximize the effectiveness of the patient care.
More than 40 GPs from Yangon, Mandalay, Meiktila and other cities including TOF graduates attended the online meeting named as “Sharing the Experiences and Information to Mitigate the Impact of the COVID-19 Third Wave”. The participants actively discussed and shared the valuable information in areas including safe clinic visits and house calls, effective teleconsultation, managing patient transfer, effective utilization of the Covid test kits and updates on the Covid vaccines.
