World Family Doctor Day 2022 Observed in Myanmar
As many family doctor organizations around the world were celebrating the World Family Doctor Day (WFDD)2022 on May 19, MAFP organized a webinar for Myanmar family doctors to participate in this auspicious event same day.
MAFP Publishes Patient Information Flyers
The first batch of patient information flyers were published by the Patient Empowerment Program of MAFP. These flyers carry the comprehensive information on Coronary Artery Disease, DASH Diet, Gout and Low-Purine Diet, and G6PD Deficiency.

Working with z-waka for Better Family Practice Management- December 2021
The MAFP is working with other societies or institutions which have objectives similar to or compatible with its own. Z-waka is an IT company which is trying to enable clinics in low resource settings to provide affordable quality healthcare through practice management tools including Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
The Patient Empowerment Program- August 2021

Oxygen Concentrators Donated to MAFP Teaching Clinics
Shin Kong Life Foundation, Taiwan, donated 10-Liter Oxygen concentrators to MAFP to be used in treating COVID-19 patients.

Community-based Teleconsultation Service During COVID-19
MAFP collaborated with General Practitioners’ Society in delivering Telemedicine service to 51 townships in Yangon and other divisions. From October 1 until now, 3843 teleconsultations were provided to the patients who have either Covid-related or non-Covid related health problems.
The Continuing Professional Development and the Pilot Physician Accreditation Program
The General Practitioners’ Society and MAFP have jointly initiated a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program in 15 townships across Myanmar.
Developing Family Medicine Teachers for University of Medicine, Magway
